Glass partitions

From completely opaque for total privacy to full transparency with a simple touch: a VK glass partition lets you control light exposure and manage privacy without the need for curtains, blinds or any other solution requiring constant maintenance. VK integrates seamlessly into contemporary and designer spaces as a distinctive architectural element.

Glass doors

VK glass can be custom-made with slots or holes to be used as sliding or hinged doors. Once again, VK places technology at the service of architecture, eliminating the need to choose between a visually striking door and a transparent door that cannot be screened. Like the partitions, the doors can also quickly and easily switch from opaque to clear, offering privacy or opening up the space as needed. Offering a full customisation service, Vitrik works closely with clients, guiding them in selecting the details to ensure a result that always meets the specific needs of any situation.

Windows, glazed panels and solar screens

Exterior windows and glazed panels play a key role in building insulation and energy efficiency. VK is much more than standard insulated glazing, as it can block UV rays when in opaque mode. By eliminating curtains and blinds, rooms become brighter and cleaning is much easier. VK provides an effective solution for solar screening on modern architectural designs that favour large exterior glazing.

Shower enclosures and wet areas

VK is tested to be used in total safety in wet environments and in contact with water, with IPX7-certified resistance. This makes VK an especially attractive solution for wellness centres and spas, bathrooms, shower enclosures and wet areas in general. As well as functionality and safety, VK guarantees high standards of hygiene, as it can be cleaned like standard glass and eliminates the need for curtains in materials prone to mould and wear.

Shaped and irregular glass

VK can be used in specific situations that require the glass to be shaped with custom profiles for decorative or technical purposes, such as fitting glass into irregular supporting structures.

Partial screens

VK can manage transitions on just a portion of the glass. For example, opting for a single tall central band, or a grid with multiple bands, creates privacy with a more subtle visual effect, without screening the entire surface.

Rear projection screens

Among its many applications, VK Design glass can also be used as a screen for rear projection of images and videos. When the glass is opaque, the projected image is particularly bright and high in contrast, while it still remains visible, although less vibrant, when the glass is transparent. VK thus makes it possible to optimise the use of space in meeting rooms, as well as domestic, hospitality and public settings, adding an innovative function to a traditional partition wall.

Curved walls

VK technology imposes no limits on curving glass. Through a specialised process, Vitrik integrates the technology with all the advantages of a quick switch from opaque to clear, making curved glass structures even more striking.

PRINTS AND DECORATIVE EFFECTS

VK is a tool that provides maximum freedom in interior design: any type of print can be incorporated into the glass, producing stunning results. When opaque, the glass not only ensures privacy, but adds depth and clarity to the image, whether it is a figurative representation, a texture, or a simulation of a luxury material such as marble.
