Hotel Terme Merano — Wellness and Relaxation Areas
As part of the renovation and enhancement of the wellness areas of the Hotel Terme Merano, VITRIK supplied its smart glass solutions to redefine the relaxation areas, creating distinctive, private, harmonious spaces.
The use of VITRIK smart glass allows the wellness areas to be divided without compromising the brightness and elegance of the interiors: the glazed surfaces maintain a refined design, while ensuring privacy and comfort in the various wellness areas.
Thanks to these solutions, the different areas are harmonised within a single overarching project, while still retaining their own identity and function: the unique nature of each space is preserved and highlighted, in the spirit of relaxation and comfort.
The VITRIK project emphasises a focus on the quality of the experience: visual transparency when needed, privacy when desired, elegance and aesthetic continuity throughout the spaces. A perfect balance of functionality and design, created for a luxury wellness setting such as the Hotel Terme Merano.

(Just a few metres from the famous Kurhaus and Merano’s old town, on the banks of the Passer River, lies one of the city’s most exclusive addresses. A 4-star superior retreat with a homely atmosphere. Using high-quality natural materials, architect Matteo Thun has created a refined setting that sets guests at ease. Upon entering the Design Hotel, it is immediately apparent that this is a very special place where lifestyle and design are uniquely combined. The spectacular exterior construction captivates with its clean architectural lines designed by Berlin architects Baumann and Zillich. The bright, cream-coloured sandstone façade, whose colour changes subtly with the light throughout the day, blends harmoniously with the stunning natural landscape of the South Tyrol. Once inside, the refined interiors are defined by understated elegance and warm natural hues. The interior architecture of the Hotel Terme Merano is the work of architect and designer Matteo Thun. The South Tyrolean architect not only designed the hotel itself, but also the adjacent spa in the centre of Merano. The refined design conveys a unique sense of cosy living.)
